Leon McCawley has won many prizes in his illustrious career and is firmly established as one of Britain’s finest pianists. He leapt to prominence when he won First Prize in the Ninth International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna and Second Prize in the Leeds International Competition. He makes a welcome return to the College for today’s typically thoughtful and virtuosic programme.
