England v Australia - 1st Ashes Test Match

Where: Swalec Stadium, Glamorgan County Cricket Ground, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff
The Swalec Stadium in Sophia Gardens is set to host the first test of the 2009 Ashes series between England and Australia. The ground is home to Glamorgan County Cricket Club and has been extensively redeveloped over the last couple of years to a new capacity of 16,000.
When the first test begins on the 8th July it will be the very first time that a 'home' test match has been played outside of England.
