Act One presents Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing'

Act One, Cardiff University's drama society, presents Shakespeare's popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Set in the country, the show includes an original score performed by a live string quartet.
Act One's 'Much Ado About Nothing' focuses on the raw comedy and drama available in one of Shakespeare's most theatrically and emotionally diverse scripts. After encouraging the engagement of young lovers Claudio and Hero, Prince Don Pedro passes the time before the wedding by plotting to make sworn enemies, Beatrice and Benedick, confess love for one another. However, the Prince's disillusioned brother Don John plans to sabotage Hero's wedding.
