Gavin Rees v Andrew Murray - European Lightweight Boxing

Welshman, Gavin Rees, will fight Irishman, Andrew Murray, for the title of European Lightweight Boxing Champion at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on Saturday 4th June. The EBU Lightweight title is currently vacant after former champion, John Murray, vacated the belt earlier this year.
Andrew Murray, who is 28 and hails from Cavan in Ireland, is undefeated in all 24 of his professional fights.
Gavin 'The Rock' Rees, who is 30 and hails from Newbridge in Wales, has won all-but-one of his 32 professional fights. Rees' only loss came as he defended his WBA Super Lightweight title against Andreas Kotelnik in March 2008.
