Why are you here?

Valley and Vale Community Arts presents "Why are you here?" The show, directed by Tracy Evans and performed by Mariam Farrah, will take place in The Grand Theatre at 12pm.
One woman’s journey takes her from Tanzania to Reading and then on to Cardiff. Along the way she is asked many times "Why are you here?"
As she settles into life in Cardiff, she shares with us her first 24 hours in the city, her encounters with angels and the ongoing battles in her heart. She attempts to answer this question.
This woman's voice is joined by a chorus of others who have arrived in Cardiff from other countries, who are all asked the same question: "Why are you here?". The result is a piece of storytelling theatre based on real lives that weaves together the journeys that people make and the resting places that they find along the way.
12pm (running time approx 35 mins).
Followed by refreshments and chat.
