Act One (Cardiff University's Drama Society) presents Spring Awakening, winner of 8 Tony awards including BEST NEW MUSICAL.
Spring Awakening follows the lives of 11 children in 1890s Germany where sex is taboo. Wendla, the young and innocent protagonist meets the headstrong and handsome Melchior, whilst Moritz, the insecure, troubled student finds his life turned upside down. A thrilling contrast of strict 19th century life with a soaring rock score, Spring Awakening is an honest and contemporary look at the complex relationship between parents and their children.
Running from Tuesday 12th - Saturday 16th March 2013 at the Cardiff YMCA Theatre.
Doors at 7pm, performance starts at 7.30pm.
